Not much of a challenge to beat my first NYE in Oz, but the bar had been set anyway and we hit the ground running!! Starting with a small BBQ at the house, we headed off to Shaz's flat in the city for drinks, dip and photographs of the first set of fireworks over the city. Then we followed a dodgy map to get to Turbo's Triple M radio station in time for midnight then up to the
rooftop to watch the fireworks over the city. By this point the drinks had thoroughly kicked in and we headed into town for a wander around and the usual drunken conversations. After a chocolate churro at 3am we headed home to collapse in bed, a fantastic start to 2009!!
